Signum has identified and isolated SIG1012, the PPM molecule in coffee. We have synthesized this small molecule and are currently assessing its activity in a mouse model of type II diabetes. Cell-based assays are also being performed to assess the effect of SIG1012 on Tau phosphorylation (a key protein in Alzheimer’s Disease).

We have entered into a joint development license and commercialization agreement with Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, for the development and commercialization of our proprietary technologies in the Japanese market.

In collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania, we are investigating the effects of Arazine compounds in a mouse model of asthma.

Signum is granted INCI approval of Arazine as well as STMs as a new class of cosmetic ingredients. Our GPM technology has exciting applications in skin care and cosmetics.
