Signum has identified and isolated SIG1012, the PPM molecule in coffee. We have synthesized this small molecule and are currently assessing its activity in a mouse model of type II diabetes. Cell-based assays are also being performed to assess the effect of SIG1012 on Tau phosphorylation (a key protein in Alzheimer’s Disease).
In collaboration with the University of
Pennsylvania, we are investigating the effects of Arazine™ compounds in a mouse model of asthma.
Signum is granted INCI approval of Arazine™ as well as STMs as a new class of cosmetic ingredients. Our GPM technology has exciting applications in skin care and cosmetics.
