Maxwell Stock grew up in the lab where he first became enamored with science and the idea of helping people improve their health using science-based approaches. Author of numerous patents, scientific publications, and founder of Signum Biosciences he utilizes this scientific foundation to guide Signum’s product development and commercialization. After more than 20 years of developing topical drugs and cosmetic ingredients in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, Max and his team created Epicutis to bring a new paradigm to skincare through clean and minimalist formulations with highly efficacious patented ingredients focused on skin health not age.

SVP OF GLOBAL SALES + CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT

Lisa began her career in medicine spending 15 years working for an esteemed medical practice focused on vascular surgery and aesthetics in Boise, Idaho where she integrated skincare products with laser treatments and other cosmetic procedures. Her experience in this space gives her intimate knowledge on the importance of skincare in aesthetics and how best to synergize these procedures with a skincare routine. Lisa’s expertise is particularly suited to accelerate the convergence of aesthetics and next generation skincare products which lie at the center of the Epicutis’ line. Lisa’s passion for skincare, clean formulations, and the aesthetic space reflects her commitment to helping people look their best while also maintaining optimal skin health.

Dr. Stock has been a professor at Princeton University for over 40 year and more than 60 years collectively in academia where his research has built the foundations for ingredient development at Signum Biosciences, which he started in 2003 with his son and CEO Maxwell Stock.

PHD + CHIEF SCIENTIFIC OFFICER

Eduardo has a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Rutgers University where he studied signal transduction before joining the Signum team and eventually becoming our Chief Science Officer.

VP OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT + CHIEF FORMULATOR

Masanori Tamura, born and raised in Osaka, Japan, obtained master of engineering at the university of Tokyo studying material science and physical chemistry. Tamura then worked at Rohto Pharmaceuticals for more than 10 years where he created Japan’s #1 selling skincare line Hada Labo before coming to the US to join our team at Signum.

PHD DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Jose is focused on developing new and innovative dermatological products with a commitment to quality, efficacy and safety. He provides in vitro and in vivo assay systems and robust analytical expertise including safety, efficacy and claim substantiation for cosmetics, botanicals, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals. Leads the team in specializing and producing customized cosmetic claim support and/or efficacy tests providing robust scientific data to support advertising or packaging claims.
